Having visited four times, I can honestly say that each trip has been just as magical as the last. Here are my tried-and-tested tips to help you make the most of your visit:
- Book Early: This is a popular event, so tickets go quickly! We love going a couple of days before Christmas – it’s the perfect lead-up.
- Visit Around 3 PM: The experience takes 2–3 hours. By the time you meet Father Christmas, it’s dusk – the woodland path glows with lights, adding to the magic.
- Be Weather Ready: British winter weather can be unpredictable. Pack wellies and raincoats in the boot, just in case.
- Dress in Layers: With both indoor and outdoor elements, warm layers and waterproofs are a must.
- Explore the Elf Village: Don’t rush this part – there’s shopping, skating, and plenty to see!
- Engage With the Elves: They stay with you the whole time, and their playful energy makes the whole journey unforgettable.
