Hello and welcome to Raising Twins! If you’ve landed here, chances are you’re navigating the beautiful chaos of twin parenting or maybe you’re simply curious about the journey. Either way, I’m so glad you’re here.
If we haven’t crossed paths before, I’m a UK-based full time working mum of twins, and someone who’s been around the blogging block a few times. I first dipped my toes into the blogging world back in 2014 when my twins were just 6 months old. What started as a creative outlet during nap times quickly grew into something much bigger. My first blog, Beau Twins, became a trusted parenting space and opened the doors to incredible opportunities, including working with some truly inspiring brands and people.
That journey sparked something in me. It led to the creation of my personal brand, and from there, I took the leap into freelance social media management. Eventually, all those experiences shaped the career I’ve built today, as a Senior Operations Manager. Blogging, in many ways, was the springboard that helped me rediscover who I was beyond motherhood and shaped the professional path I’m on now.
But despite the evolution, I’ve always missed one thing: the writing.
Now, as my twins are on the brink of starting secondary school (how did that happen?!) I feel pulled back to this space. Not just to document the next chapter in our family journey, but to share the lessons, the laughs, and the real-life parenting moments with other twin parents who might be walking a similar path.
This new chapter, Raising Twins, feels like the right space to start again. My hope is to share insights from the toddler trenches to the tween rollercoaster and everything in between. I want this blog to be a source of support and comfort for fellow twin parents who, like me, are navigating the ups and downs – from school transitions and solo parenting to work-life balance, emotional rollercoasters, and the incredible joy of watching two unique little humans grow up side by side.
Thank you for being here at the very beginning of this new chapter. I can’t wait to reconnect with old friends from my Beau Twins days, meet new readers, and build a community that celebrates this unique parenting journey.
With love, x
