This month began with a very special milestone, my beautiful twins turned 12! In the days leading up to their birthday, we celebrated with high tea, leisurely lunches, and a little shopping spree at Westfield.
The girls also started at a new school as they made the big move into secondary. It’s been a month of finding our rhythm and settling into a brand-new routine, and we’re slowly but surely getting into our groove.
We also began at a new riding school, though it was such a joy to be reunited with a familiar face – one of the coaches we had at the previous school. She’s truly wonderful, always making us feel at home, and she’s an incredible coach. We just adore her!
Work has been busy, but in the best way. I really do love what I do and where I work. After more than seven years, I’ve experienced my fair share of ups and downs, but I feel so blessed with my 9–5.
Beyond work, I’ve been pouring energy into rebuilding my online presence through this blog. Starting again has its challenges, but it also comes with exciting opportunities. I’m so glad to have carved out space to create again, it’s always been such an important outlet for me. Once upon a time, I was a DJ and nightclub promoter, and creativity was at the heart of it all, from designing flyers and hosting DJs to DJing myself.
I’m also slowly rebuilding my social media presence. Even though I’ve managed accounts for brands, doing it for myself feels like a completely different journey.
September has also been a month of planning. I like to stay one step ahead with family catch-ups, quality time with the girls, and hobby lessons, skiing and horse riding always get booked quickly! October’s calendar is already filled up, so there’ll be lots to share here in the coming weeks. For anyone new to the blog, I post every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
We wrapped up the month with a lovely lunch catch-up with my mum, the girls, and our close cousins, followed by a gorgeous Sunday afternoon spent with our best friends.
It’s been a month full of change and adjustment, but with God’s blessings, we’ve had a successful, joyful, and productive September. I’m excited to see what October brings!
